
The holiday season is a time for generosity, community, and coming together to help those in need. As part of our Herb Chambers Cares initiative, we are proud to launch our company wide food drive campaign Driving Out Hunger. A holiday can drive, supporting local food pantries and helping our neighbors in the communities we serve.
From November 19 through January 19, each Herb Chambers location will collect nonperishable food items and personal care essentials. Our goal is simple: to provide a little extra support to families and individuals who could use a hand during this season.
How You Can Help
Guests are welcome to donate at any Herb Chambers location by bringing in nonperishable food items or personal care essentials. Guests who bring five or more canned goods to the Service department can scan the QR code displayed there to complete the form and be entered to win a $250 Service Credit. The QR code will be available in the Service area, so all donations count toward the drive, but only those scanned in Service will enter the raffle.
Recommended Items for Donation
To help guide donations, here are some items that local food pantries often need most:
- Canned vegetables and fruits
- Canned soups and stews
- Pasta and rice
- Peanut butter and other nut butters
- Canned or boxed meals (e.g., chili, ravioli, tuna)
- Breakfast items (cereal, oatmeal)
- Personal care essentials (toothpaste, shampoo, soap, diapers)
